Goose Pond Test Fishing
Fished Goose pond today, Got a late start but went anyway.
The fishing was good at first ,then the boat traffic picked up along with the wind. Got a few nice 4lb small mouth bass, along with a few night sized white perch and a few nice chain pickerel and some small yellow perch. Fish the whole time out there with night crawlers on a #4 gold eagle claw single bladed spinner.. Trolling and casting a times from my kayak.. Plan on trying it again soon, but this real early in the morning or last few hours of the day..
heading up your way for the weekend...hopfuly going to fish tarletan upper baker and stinson lake...whats the smallies doing..on beds or postspawn?
