CT River Stripers

The last few weeks in April to early May means stripers up and down the CT River. "When the forsythia bloom the stripers run." That's what the long time fisherman have always told me, and it holds pretty true. Had some great days last spring, and looking forward to a good run this season. The video is from a 2 hr. period in the Haddam area where I landed over 2 dozen 30+" fish. I fianlly decided to call it quits when I landed 2 keepers on a single plug fished on a ridiculously overpowered freshwater rod.
